My goodness it's been a while since we had a new fuzzy! Since 9/13/02, in fact. Sheesh. Not that there haven't been other fuzzies spending time at our house... but a permanent addition is something different. Let me start off with a little back story. Rhonda works at the NW Zoological Supply and gets to help intake all the new baby fuzzies that come in before they are distributed to local Petcos. I couldn't do it - that's just way too much cuteness in one central location. My brain would fry and that would be it :) I told her to keep an eye out for a silver or DEW with a black plastic nose, only to fall in love with a black sable girl when I went to visit with Rhonda one day. I was good though, and left her behind. Rhonda, however, found out my weakness. I watched R&R's kiddos while they were away in Hawaii and as a thank you Rhonda picked up Monster. They surprised me with him when I was over at the old shelter painting. Cuuuute! I called Geoff and said he was cute, fuzzy and he bit me (running joke). Geoff said we were probably even, since he picked up a new car. Hmm, car vs ferret. I don't think so. So he made up with Red Lobster that night, and I brought home yet another foster dog the next day. LOL! Monster is just an itty-bit right now, though I swear he is growing each day. He is a funny little guy, always honking, dancing or being silly. He is a very dark boy with a dark black plastic nose, an almost exact duplicate of Baloo, only nice. :) I'll get pics soon, and as he grows. Hopefully my guys will be nice to him when it comes time to introduce him! |
