I'm was sleeping on the couch after work.. Hubby said he was going out to finish up his Xmas shopping, so I didn't expect him home until later.. All the lights were out and when I finally woke up, he was standing in front of me saying "Here's a stocking stuffer you should probably have right now." followed by what I thought was "Careful, he's nippy!" (turns out he said "You're going to kill me!". But it's all the same. LOL!) I wasn't quite awake & I thought he had just stuffed Oz in my stocking, so I reached up to grab him... Then he says "It's that cute little silver you were admiring". Oh dear! (Honestly though, it's those little mitty feet! How can you not oooh & awww at them!) BAD HUBBY! [Said with oh-so-much-conviction. Really...] And now for the name game.. HELP GUYS! [Update a few hours later ... His name is Kamikaze :)] Poor lil' guy is going to have to live by himself in that ridiculously large cage of mine 'til he gets a little bigger.. Well, maybe not *all* by himself. Nilla is going to keep him company today. She may not be thrilled about it, but she'll live. It's not like there's not enough room in that cage! Kaze is a total ham. We're guestimating he's around 8 or 9 wks.. I found only one baby tooth, so my guess agrees with his paperwork. He hasn't stopped dooking or dancing since Geoff brought him home. He runs and pounces at anything that moves. He runs full-speed into things, crashing in a gale of dooks (hence the name). Even though he's quite the active bugger, I did manage to get a few pics before Baloo unplugged my cam. Oz, the alpha male, is excited because we brought him home a chew toy. *sigh* Gizmo chased the little guy (much to his delight), but hasn't done much else. Orion ignored him as soon as the plate of gravy went down. Nilla gave me a funny look & then went back to bed. And Baloo-bear eyed him suspiciously as he ran back and forth for bits of food. I'm not ignoring dear ol' Dook, but he didn't come out to play with us (he's deaf & slept right through the whole thing!). We'll update you as the little moster grows. And no, you can't have my hubby! heheh.. |
