We're seriously not allowed out of the house with my wallet anymore. We were being so good too... Sigh. Well, I suppose that had to end sometime.

So for the past few weeks all I hear from Geoff is "I want a blaze baby. I *need* a blaze baby." and so on. And the worst part? There were four, count 'em FOUR, at our fave pet store.

On Saturday I went to the shelter and picked up two new babies (Brando & Sophia). I dunno, but I was feeling pretty good about giving those two older kids a home.

On Sunday, we were at the game and the topic of blaze babies keeps coming up. Geoff even hinted that we could hurry back from the game and scurry on over to the pet store.

When we got home that night, we decided that we were tired and that they'd be there the next day..

Monday rolls around and we discuss getting a blaze baby again, but *only* if it's a girl. Well, the Lynnwood store had a blaze boy & a cute skunk DEW (marked DEW w/ a stripe down his back). And the Marysville store had 3 baby blazes. 2 boys and a girl.

Geoff fell in love with the "dookie eyed" blaze boy (see pics page & look at the baby Dook)... And I, in love with this lil' girl.

It was a case of we couldn't decide, so we took both. Naughty yes, but probably great for the babes now :)

So meet Fingers. Appropriately named for what she likes to eat. :p She's a baby, she's deaf, so the nipping is really not a big deal. Geoff, though, has still not learned not to stick his fingers through the cage bars... Dum-de-dum-dum-DUMB. :)

She's so teenie right now! And so full of spunk. What a doll!

Right now she's got the double sets of canine teeth and is chewing on everything in sight. Example: Dinner. She eats a chunk of gravy, then bites the plate, then goes back to the gravy & so on. Such a goof!

She's still little enough to go up through the bottom of the j-feeder and out the top. I'll have to get a good pic one of these days (better hurry before she gets big!).

Anyway, she's doing great & we're thrilled to have her aboard :)
